Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I had read many stories about the men who have survived the evils of combat. However, this is the first time I read about a prisoner of war enduring their stay at a POW camp. This book kept my attention from the beginning to the end. The details that showed the horror of being a prisoner was vividly portrayed. In the end, the book became more about forgiveness then about the horrors of war.
