Tonsils Gone!

Angie had her tonsils removed (along with her adenoids and turbinates in the nasal cavity). She had it done Wednesday morning at the Skyline Surgery Center in Pocatello. Due to COVID, only one parent is allowed with a minor patient so Deb went with her. I used Facetime and phone calls to keep up with what was going on. Angie was a hurting girl. She is still hurting although she seems to get better each day.

Marsh Valley won the boys' basketball state championship on Saturday. They defeated McCall-Donnelly 58-51 to claim the crown. I find it interesting that Marsh Valley defeated McCall-Donnelly for the state football championship some eighteen years ago. The boy's team also won the academic championship for boys' basketball. The team has the best GPA in the state for 3A. The wrestling team also won the state academic championship.

We learned today that the stake will return to having the second hour of church meetings in April. It will be over a year since Sunday School, Relief Society, Young Women, Primary, and Priesthood meetings have been held. In fact, it will be a year ago this coming weekend when the church cancelled meetings due to the COVID pandemic.
