On Friday, we played games. We taught Angie and Lilli Hand and Foot. To them, it was boring. It uses too much strategy and not enough action! Besides, it does not involve any electronics!
Friday was also Lilli's Adoption Day. To celebrate, we went to King Buffet in Orem. It was really good, but they only had about half the normal food out. At any rate, it was delicious.
Saturday, Deb and I played some games. We then went to find someplace to swim. I thought Deer Creek Reservoir would be a good place so we went there. It cost $20 to just enter the park, so we decided against it. We drove to Midway and went up to the memorial there. When Angie was little, we went there. As she got out of the car, she exclaimed "You can see the whole wide world!" I tried to get Angie to recreate it, but she would not do it. For supper, we went to Mo Bettah's, also in Orem.
Shauna and Scott came to the cabin. We did sacrament while they were here. We then grilled some steaks (Scott wanted a hamburger) for dinner. We had a good time visiting, and then, reluctantly, we left. I wish we could stay for a month! The four days, though, did me a world of good. I needed time to just do nothing but what I wanted to do.
