General Conference

The week concluded with General Conference. We watched it as a family. It was a very nice conference. President Russell M. Nelson, at the conclusion of the conference, announced six new temples, one of which will be in Lindon, Utah.

Conference was held without anyone in attendance except the First Presidency, the Quorum of the Twelve, and others that participated. It will be nice when conference will have attendees again.

Angie participated in the annual Powder Puff game. Her team of sophomores and juniors lost 7-0. Angie got to play in the second half on the defensive line. The game is always played during the week of Marsh Valley's homecoming. MV did well and won the game against South Fremont, 27-19.

Angie also tried out for the competitive cheer team. She made it. She was pretty happy especially since a lot of her friends are on the team.

BYU played Louisiana Tech in an empty stadium in Provo. BYU handled them easily, 48-14. They are 3-0 and climbing in the polls. They are ranked 15 right now.
